New wet-dust separator from Flextraction
The new Teka HNW1500 high-performance wet-dust separator is now available from Melton Mowbray-based Flextraction. The latest model forms part of the HNW series, with airflows ranging from 1,500m3/h to 10,000m3/h, and engine sizes up to 15kW, 400V, 50Hz.
With its high dust-collection capacity and 1.5kW, 400V, 50Hz engine, the HNW1500 has been designed for use in a wide range of industrial applications. The air is cleaned by swirling the dust with water, with particles centrifuged in a W-swirl – a concept originally developed to separate explosive dusts and now adopted for use in Teka’s wet-dust separator.
Dust particles in the airflow are enclosed in the water owing to the strong turbulence in the swirl. Water in the separator can be used again, and due to the special arrangement of the impeller, the fan achieves a high negative pressure.
