New thermal camera
Land Instruments International have introduced their TP8 thermal camera which, the company claim, has a detector resolution 45% higher than the 320 x 240 pixels found in standard thermal imagers.
The TP8 – which measures temperatures from –20ºC to 800ºC – allows users to capture thermal and visual images simultaneously, record dynamic radiometric sequences of moving targets in real time, and store up to 1,000 images on the 2GB storage card.
Up to eight areas can be analyzed at once in live, zoomed, frozen or saved format with respective maximum, minimum or average temperatures indicated in each zone. Display options include line, histogram and isotherm.
Inspection reports can be produced in minutes in Microsoft Word using a pre-defined template or created manually by the user. The reports can include thermal and visual images, measurement details, annotated text, voice recording and any other essential information.
