New products from Utranazz
Utranazz have recently added two new products to their range — a fully mobile four-bin batching plant and a Sermac truck-mounted concrete pump.
The T4 mobile batching plant, which is fully automated and transportable, features hydraulic off-loading legs and has an output of 40m3/h. Utranazz say that the main advantage of this system is that it can hold up to four different types of material, allowing a greater variety of concrete mixes to be produced. The design of the plant means that it can be up and working within 1h of arrival on site.
Each of the four bins has a capacity of 4.5m3 and a specially designed conveyor lifts raw materials up to a height of 4m. Four off-loading legs allow the T4 to be loaded and unloaded from a truck without the need for a crane. During transportation the legs retract into the frame of the machine, while during off loading they open out to a width that allows the truck to drive away or move back underneath the machine. The discharge conveyor belt folds away into the first aggregate bin, minimizing the overall height for transportation.
The custom-made batching plants are fitted with load-cells and a digital display with printer to allow continual control of raw materials.
The Sermac Extreme 5Z41 truckmounted concrete pump has a 41m reach, a five-section z-fold boom and, due to its short wheel base, is easy to manoeuvre.
The 5Z41 has a maximum output of 170m3/h, a vertical reach of 41m, a horizontal reach of 36.6m and a downward reach of 28.5m.The z-fold design allows the boom to unfold to its full reach at a height of just 8m.The unit has a long stroke of 2.2m that allows large volumes of concrete to be pumped under controlled high-pressures of up to 61bar.
The pump can be mounted on to any cab/chassis with the correct specifications and has hydraulically operated stabilizing legs. Stabilizing options can be either a front or rear X configuration with extending legs.
In another development, Utranazz have supplied Lion Plant with a Sermac 5R47 truck-mounted concrete pump, which has allowed them to undertake work on an urban regeneration project in the centre of Nottingham.
The £100 million Trinity Square project is an 11-storey residential/retail development that required the long distance coverage that a Sermac 5R47 pump can provide. With a five-section roll-fold-type boom, which allows it to unfold at a height of just 9m, the 5R47 is suitable for working at heights in tight spaces where a long reach is required.
