London-based recycling contractor bolsters equipment fleet with addition of Mobirex MR 100i NEO impact crusher

BP Mitchell have strengthened their position in the London and South East waste-recycling markets with further investment in a new Kleemann Mobirex MR 100i NEO mobile impact crusher.

The recycling firm is very familiar with Kleemann’s materials-processing equipment and technological innovations, having purchased four Mobicat jaw crushers, two Mobiscreen screening plants, and a Mobibelt mobile stacker.

Receiving and recycling construction waste materials from Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Essex, BP Mitchell’s recent investment in the compact Kleemann Mobirex MR 100i NEO is a clear example of the company’s proactive approach to continually updating its aggregate processing fleet, embracing innovations, and meeting any future requirements for increased asphalt and recycled aggregate production.

‘Our goal is to produce recycled material of the highest quality possible. To achieve this, we invest in high-quality, cutting-edge machinery,’ said Brendan Mitchell, managing director of BP Mitchell.

‘What impresses us time and again about the Kleemann plants is their innovative features and outstanding ease of use. Our people find the machines very easy to handle. Everything can be adjusted and operated intuitively and conveniently.’

The MR 100i NEO impact crusher boasts several innovative functions, including automatic crushing gap adjustment, which enables a quick response to changes in the material feed.

‘The crushing gap adjustment can be operated at the push of a button, which is a highlight in this machine class,’ continued Mr Mitchell. He is also particularly impressed with the ability to switch between applications. ‘The MR 100i NEO can be converted from washing plant feeding to processing recycled asphalt (RAP) with minimal effort.’

Another notable feature of the Kleemann track-mounted impact crusher is its low fuel consumption of 11 litres per hour, which helps to reduce overall running costs significantly. Notably, the MR 100i NEO unit is playing a key role in satisfying BP Mitchell’s recycling productivity demands, whereby up to 100,000 tonnes of smaller grain sizes and up to 200,000 tonnes of larger particle sizes are required.
