Selwood officially launch high-head pump at Hillhead 2010 exhibition
Selwood officially launched their new H100 high-head pump at Hillhead in Buxton, the world’s biggest working exhibition of quarrying and recycling equipment.
This pump unit has a maximum head of 120m and a flow of 225m³/h with three basic build options available - super silent, open set and electric motor.
As well as developing new pump models Selwood have a strategic pump development programme to continually improve their existing product range. The latest example of this development programme, which also featured at Hillhead, is the new close-coupled configuration of the D150 super silent pump. This complements the existing ‘S’ range and D80 and D100 pumps that are all now close-coupled units. The advantages of this improved arrangement are reduced noise, reduced vibration, longer coupling life plus ease of maintenance and production.
Despite the effects of the recent recession, Hillhead appears to have been a resounding success with Selwood receiving a large number of quality sales leads.
