New Develon site in Germany nearly complete
Construction work on company’s new German headquarters facility in Mannheim progressing rapidly
CONSTRUCTION work on Develon’s new site in Mannheim, Germany, is progressing rapidly. Structural engineering work for the administration building on the approximately 10,650m2 site at Lembacher Strasse 30, in the Friedrichsfeld district, has already been completed and the shell has been erected. In the next few weeks, the façade work and the interior fittings will be completed.
In addition to large workshop spaces and an office building, a modern customer and training centre is also being built. Up to 40 new jobs will be created at the new site, which is conveniently located with direct access to the A656 Mannheim-Heidelberg highway.
‘We see our goal of consistently expanding the business step by step literally growing every day and are looking forward to welcoming customers and retailers on site from next year,’ said Andreas M. Lohner, managing director of Develon Germany and sales manager for the GSA region and Eastern Europe.
Construction work on the new German Develon headquarters is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Until then, the company is offering customers a full range of services via its interim location at Seckenheimer Landstrasse 210-220, which opened in March 2023.
