New crushers from TEREX Finlay
Following its first public showing at Bauma in April, the recently launched track-mounted C-1540 cone crusher from TEREX Finlay – who next year celebrate their 50th anniversary – made its debut UK appearance on live demonstration at Hillhead 2007.
Designed to complement the company’s existing and growing range of mobile jaw and impact crushers, as well as their screening, washing and recycling equipment, TEREX Finlay say the new C-1540 will allow them to offer customers a complete solution for all their crushing requirements.
Offering a number of key benefits including hydrostatic drive, rapid set-up time, a high reduction ratio, high output capacity and an advanced electronic control system, the C-1540 features an integral selectable pre-screen facility, which means that only material that needs to be crushed, is actually crushed, thereby increasing the throughput capacity of the machine.
Hillhead 2007 also provided the UK launch pad for the new track-mounted I-1310RS impact crusher, which has been developed to complement the I-1310 model launched at Intermat 2006. Aimed at the quarrying and recycling markets, the I-1310RS features a heavy-duty vibrating grizzly feeder with integrated pre-screen, an under-crusher vibratory feeder to prevent belt damage, a 12ft (3.6m) x 5ft (1.5m) screen with recirculatory conveyor, and an advanced electronic control system for ease of operation.
