New bright LED remote display for clear reading
Avery Weigh-Tronix have launched their new XR Series of easy-to-read LED remote displays. Available with 5, 11 or 17cm digits, the high-intensity red LED characters can be seen from up to 325ft.
For the quarrying industry, the LED display units mean that operators do not need to walk around a site checking readouts. For example, when the remote display is integrated into a weighbridge, there is no reason for drivers to leave the safety of their cabs.
The XR Series uses auto-learn technology to make installation quick and easy by automatically interpreting the communication format and data stream of almost any instrument to reduce set-up time.
Each model can also operate wirelessly thanks to an integrated RF socket. Users simply plug the optional RF module inside the remote and connect a base transceiver to the indicator or PC.

It can be used on many weighing systems, as well as a wide array of applications in the quarrying industry. By enclosing it in a durable, weather-tight box, it can be used for even the harshest of working environments.’
The remote displays have a wide range of pre-installed programmes for different weighing applications and can display data in either tonnes or kilograms with both gross and net weight.
