New board appointment at CDE
Promotion for Terry Ashby as company looks to ensure continued expansion in the UK and overseas
CDE Global have announced the appointment of Terry Ashby to the board of directors following the company’s recent AGM. Mr Ashby moves to the new position having been general manager for CDE with specific responsibility for their operations in the GB market for the last 10 years.
Commenting on the appointment, managing director Brendan McGurgan said: ‘Terry has been with us for many years now and has contributed greatly to the development of our presence in the UK market. His experience and respect within the industry will undoubtedly continue to be a significant asset for CDE as we seek to further increase our coverage.’
Having worked in the quarrying and construction materials industry for over 30 years, Mr Ashby is a respected and well known personality within the industry in the UK and beyond. In addition to the extensive knowledge of the GB market, he has been pivotal in the development of many export markets for CDE having spent considerable time in North America and the Middle East.
In his new role he will work closely with the CDE Global sales team and growing distributor network to ensure the continuing expansion of the company both within existing markets and strategic export markets outside Ireland and the UK.

Mr Ashby will lead a dedicated CDE team in Great Britain which includes technical sales personnel and a dedicated after-sales and service team.
