New appointment at Elite Precast

ELITE Precast Concrete Ltd have announce the appointment of Owen Batham as sales and marketing director. Previously chief executive of Ennstone Concrete Products, Mr Batham brings with him a wealth of experience to his new role.

Elite have grown rapidly since the company was founded by Richard Doody (a former of colleague of Mr Batham at Ennstone) and Alan Johnson, and have recently moved into a 25,000 sq ft premises in the industrial centre of Telford.

The company’s interlocking concrete block products, which are well suited to applications in the quarrying and recycling sectors, were exhibited for the first time at Hillhead 2010.

Commenting on his recent appointment, Mr Batham said: ‘I have been helping a number of SMEs in the past few months, but Elite’s ambitious plans for growth combined with a real passion to be the lowest-cost producer really grabbed my attention, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to help them realize their plans.’
