Celebrate and share in the latest health and safety innovations and achievements across the industry

JOIN the prestigious MPA Health & Safety Awards 2024 online at 3pm on Wednesday 13 November to celebrate and share the health and safety innovations and achievements from across MPA and the wider industry.

At around 90 mins in length and with entries from 33 companies across eight topics (numbering 142 entries), ‘The Fatal 6’ and Eurobitume categories, Individual and Young Leader awards, plus the highly sought-after John Crabbe and Sir Frank Davies trophies, the event promises to be both informative and uplifting.

Whether a chief executive, senior manager, H&S specialist, site manager, supervisor, member of staff, site operative, supplier, contractor, or key stakeholder, the event will provide a unique opportunity to share the innovations that are transforming health and safety in the industry and recognize the actions that can be taken to make working environments safer for all.

Incorporating a series of specially commissioned videos, the online nature of the event makes it highly suitable for viewing at sites. The MPA encourages sharing the event widely within companies, with arrangements made at sites so that colleagues can join in and watch the Awards live and maximize the potential to share good practices.

Colin Mew, the MPA’s head of health and safety, said: ‘This is a great opportunity for the industry to come together not only to celebrate, but also to learn more about some amazing health and safety innovations. Drawn from across all sectors of the mineral products industry, everyone will be able to identify opportunities to apply some of the ideas highlighted to make their own workplaces safer or healthier. Watching this event could help you to prevent a serious injury or fatality to one of your colleagues.’
