Liebherr showcase materials handling expertise
Three specialist materials handling machines, including a UK debut, to be shown at RWM
LIEBHERR will be displaying the 24-tonne A 904 C Litronic Industrial Rehandler, which features four hydraulic outriggers for superior stability and maximum lifting capacities up to 4.50 tonnes at a 10.50m radius.
The Tier 3 Liebherr engine develops 105kW and is extremely fuel-efficient, with reduced emissions. The industrial straight monobloc boom is 5.6m in length and the machine is equipped with a Type SG 25 sorting grapple for direct attachment on to a 4.5m industrial angled stick with tipping kinematics. Liebherr’s own Tool Control system has been included on the Industrial Rehandler for safe and swift automatic changing of attachments.
Making its UK debut at the show will be the R 317 Litronic Industrial Rehandler – a 22-tonne class crawler tracked machine powered by a Deutz TCD2013 LOV4 turbo-charged and aftercooled engine that produces 94kW at 1,800 rev/min. The industrial straight boom is 4.6m in length with a 3.5m industrial stick with tilt kinematics, while a hydraulic swivel is fitted for industrial and long-reach attachments
Also on show will be the Liebherr L 5382plus1 PK-HL – an articulated, hydrostatic drive machine in the 12-plus-tonnes operating weight class with a tipping load of just over 9 tonnes. Powered by a new-generation Liebherr diesel engine type D 934 S AG, developing 105kW, the wheel loader is powerful, agile and responsive. The hydrostatic drive and Stage IIIA/Tier 3 engine combine to produce better fuel economy with a corresponding and significant reduction in CO2 emissions.
This L 5382plus1 is specified and factory built for waste-handling operations with numerous features. The machine’s SG Revolution solid tyres help eliminate punctures and both the axles have limited slip differentials to avoid wheel spin for maximum push, with the added benefit of prolonged tyre life.
