INMALO take on DustBoss distributorship
INTERNATIONAL Marketers (London) Ltd (INMALO), specialists in buckets and hydraulic attachments and importers for MBI, have been appointed as distributor for the DustBoss line of mobile dust-suppression units manufactured by US-based Dust Control Technology.
INMALO say DustBoss equipment offers a number of market sectors, including quarries, coal, landfill, demolition and recycling sites, a cost-effective, efficient and environmentally friendly solution for the control and suppression of dust and odours.
The DustBoss designs feature a fully automatic, oscillating ducted fan with a high-pressure misting system that creates a ‘virtual dust barrier’ – an ultra-fine mist that attracts dust and drives it to the ground. The DustBoss units can blanket an area up to 1,950 square metres in size, depending on the model used.
The units produce dust-attracting water particles ranging in size from 50–200 microns –– the optimum size for agglomeration of dust particles –– and require only a water supply and a generator for operation. A typical DustBoss unit can be easily set up by one person in around 30min and then requires no further attention.
Commenting on the new distributorship, INMALO managing director John Polak said the DustBoss equipment could help maintain responsible environmental control on all types of sites throughout the UK. ‘We are already serving relevant markets with our range of MBI hydraulic attachments and the addition of DustBoss to this range allows us to provide our customers with a ‘total solution’ package,’ he said.
