Ibstock awarded Gold accreditation by The 5% Club
Achievement highlights Group’s commitment to supporting ongoing development of employees
IBSTOCK have been awarded prestigious Gold accreditation membership as part of The 5% Club’s 2024-2025 Employer Audit Scheme. The achievement highlights the Ibstock Group’s commitment to supporting the ongoing development of their employees through ‘earn-and-learn’ initiatives and apprenticeships.
Jo Hodge, group people, sustainability, and social impact director at Ibstock, said: ‘Achieving Gold status is testament to our approach to the growth and development of our people, through programmes that offer hands-on learning and career pathways for professional growth and equip our employees with the skills and confidence to thrive.’
Being part of The 5% Club, Ibstock stand alongside more than 1,100 other forward-thinking employers who are dedicated to driving positive change and represent a powerful movement of companies working together to make workplace training more inclusive, diverse, and accessible. Collectively, members support 1.9 million employees, with more than 108,000 individuals participating in earn-and-learn schemes.
‘Ibstock have a long-standing commitment to developing talent, with an award-winning early careers programme. We offer a range of apprenticeship programmes across various disciplines including engineering and manufacturing, and have expanded this over recent years into functional business roles,’ continued Ms Hodge.
‘These programmes provide apprentices with valuable on-the-job training and the opportunity to gain industry-recognized qualifications. Not only are apprenticeships a great way to start a career, but they provide an important enabler for individuals from all backgrounds and a critical underpin for social mobility.’
