Hilhead 2012: BAA Conference 2012
This year more than 90 members and associates attended the British Aggregates Association’s annual general meeting, which took place on 18 June at the Palace Hotel in Buxton, Derbyshire.
The event proved to be highly thought-provoking with no less than 10 high-quality speakers contributing to the seminar proceedings. A broad range of topics were discussed, including: best practice in health and safety; apprenticeships; quarry restoration and biodiversity; and archaeology.
A full report on this year’s BAA Conference will be published in the August edition of Quarry Management.
