High-spec AC motors for quarrying

ROTOR (UK) Ltd have launched the new European designed and manufactured nl range of high-specification ‘standard’ AC motors for use in demanding quarrying and mining applications.

Available in frame sizes from 100 to 315, the motors’ robust design features include cast iron construction, high-integrity seals and oversized bearings for greater reliability and improved motor life in harsh working environments.

The motors are available in face-, flange- and foot-mounted options from a large stock held in the UK, and certain sizes come with larger bearings than standard motors.

Rotor (UK) say they can also meet customized demands at short notice, including special shafts, additional protection from harsh conditions, ATEX certification and increased ingress protection to IP65.
