Hanly Brothers crush with Extec
Aggregates suppliers Hanly Brothers have purchased a C-12+ primary jaw crusher from Extec. Powered by a Caterpillar C-9 engine, the C-12+ runs on diesel hydraulic power and transmission at 261kW (350hp) — without the use of clutches.
The mobile crusher is widely used for rock crushing in quarries and construction sites, concrete crushing in recycling yards or demolition sites, as well as asphalt crushing. Some of the C-12+’s features include an extended tail conveyor as standard, a large vibrating feeder, reverse crushing action to assist in clearing blockages and a Vogel automated jaw greasing system for efficient centralized lubrication.
The machine is operated by remote control or through an umbilical control handset. Since its launch in 2001, more than 1,500 units have been sold to date.
