Gel system for upgrading electrical enclosures
ISP, manufacturers of resin-filled cable jointing kits for the electrical industry, have launched Gelseal, an environmentally friendly non-toxic gel system designed to protect components within electrical enclosures.
Gelseal can be used to upgrade existing standard enclosures up to and beyond IP68 rating, while offering re-enterability and protection against water moisture, dust and dirt.
The product is suitable for encapsulating, sealing, potting, insulating and shock dampening, and can also be used in trunking and pipes.
Supplied in a safe and easy-to-use self-contained bags, ISP say Gelseal pours easily and has a high level of adhesion and dielectric properties.
