Environmental accreditation
COAL mining operators Celtic Energy have achieved the international ISO 14001:2004 environmental standard for their current surface mining operations, coal wash/distribution centres and headquarters in Caerphilly. The ISO accreditation covers all aspects of the company’s operations, from planning and extraction to site restoration and rehabilitation.
