Cycleway opened

"Steven Norris, chair of the National Cycling Strategy Board and a keen cyclist, recently opened the Hanson Way, a new stretch of the National Cycle Network."

"The Hanson Way runs from Oxford to Didcot on Route 5 of the National Cycle Network and was funded by a grant of £574,927 from the Hanson Environment Fund. The route was designed by Sustrans and Oxfordshire County Council and has also received support from South Oxfordshire and White Horse District Councils."

"Two-thirds of the route is traffic free and will provide a safe and attractive route for cyclists, walkers and wheelchair users."
