CRH complete first Chinese acquisition

DUBLIN-based CRH plc have completed their first move into the burgeoning Chinese building materials market with the acquisition of a 650,000 tonnes-per-annum cement plant in Heilongjiang province, north-east China. The plant is located approximately 45km south-east of the city of Harbin and will operate as Harbin Sanling Cement Co.
