CDE Global establish US operation

CDE's M4500 washing plant

Washing plant specialists set up CDE Global Inc. and open new office in North Carolina

MATERIALS washing specialists CDE Global have strengthened their position in the US market with the formation of CDE Global Inc. and the opening of a new office in Siler City, North Carolina. The company has also launched a new website specifically tailored towards the US market.

CDE will support these activities with attendance at the ConExpo-Con/Agg exposition in Las Vegas from 4–8 March 2014, where the formal launch of the new M4500 wash plant for construction, mining, recycling and industrial sand applications will take place.

With a capacity of 450 tonnes/h, CDE say the M4500 (pictured) portable wash plant is a revolution in modular washing equipment offering feeding, screening, sand washing and stockpiling on a compact chassis and enabling the production of four products to required specifications.

Over the last 20 years CDE Global have established themselves as one of the leading suppliers of wet processing technology for quarries and mines with equipment operating throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Latin America and North America.

The company’s success to date in North America, particularly along the East Coast, has led to the formation of CDE Global Inc, while the new base in North Carolina, in conjunction with new US partners American Crushers and Screens LLC, is expected to facilitate further growth throughout the US.

According to Tony Convery, chairman and founder of CDE Global, the arrival of the company in the US signifies a significant development of the washing and classification equipment available in the US market. ‘We have spent considerable time in the US over the last 18 months and this has confirmed to us that there are huge opportunities for us to help operators to improve the efficiency of their operations,’ he said.

CDE have appointed a dedicated US team to develop the US market, led by Kevin McNamee, business development manager for North America. ‘Our success so far in the US market with construction and recycling projects has highlighted the requirement to have our full range of services located in-country,’ he commented.

‘Our most recent North American project has been a 200 tonnes/h natural sand and gravel wash plant in North Carolina. The establishment of the new office provides a permanent base for our new US team which will include technical, design, project management and sales functions. We are looking forward to a busy 2014 in the US, with the kick-off being ConExpo-Con/Agg in early March.’

CDE Global Inc. have also recently joined the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and National Stone Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA). Over the coming months they will also be joining a number of regional associations as they seek to build a project portfolio over the coming years.
