Bobcat to exhibit new machines at SAIE
At this year’s SAIE international building exhibition (24-28 October) in Bologna, Italy, Bobcat will be exhibiting an extensive range of their machines, including the new 323 mini-excavator and T2250 compact telehandler.
The 323 mini is an enhanced version of its predecessor, providing improved performance in the 1–2 tonne class, with faster cycle times and higher productivity. Weighing 1,501kg (canopy version), the mini-excavator has a maximum digging depth of 2,337mm, a dump height of 2,581mm and a reach of 4,038mm. The Bobcat 323 also features a new quick coupler for fitting attachments, developed in collaboration with France-based Klac Industrie.
Meanwhile, the new T2250 telehandler has been designed to combine the features and benefits of three different machine types: a telehandler (lifting height and reach); an articulated loader (loading ability); and a skid-steer (compactness and attachment capability).
In addition to the telehandler’s versatility, Bobcat claim the T2250 is the first machine of its type to offer a choice of quick-change attachment mounting systems (with either mechanical or hydraulic locking): the traditional front carrier; or the ‘Bob-Tach’ system.
Choosing the latter allows the telehandler to be equipped with the same attachments as the larger Bobcat skid-steer and compact tracked loaders, providing over 60 different attachments and covering a wider range of applications, including material-handling, excavation, construction and landscaping.
