Bell launch new wheel loader range in the UK
BELL Equipment have ventured into the UK wheel loader market for the first time with the launch of their new seven-model, high-specification E-Series range.
The E-Series machines range from the 11-tonne utility class L1204E loader, which has a standard bucket capacity of 1.9m3, to the 26-tonne production class L2706E loader, which has a standard 4.6m3 bucket size.
All machines across the range are available with Z-bar linkage configurations and high-lift arms, while the L1204E, L1506E, L1706E and L1806E utility class loaders are also available with parallel linkage and Quick-Attach.
‘We are confident that we have a range of machines in this new E-Series which will set the benchmark for wheel loaders in the UK as far as standard specification is concerned,’ said Neville Paynter, managing director of Bell UK. ‘We also see great value in being able to provide our customers with a complementary addition to our existing ADT offer.’
The Bell wheel loaders destined for the UK market – the L1204E, L1506E, L1706E, L1806E, L2106E, L2606E and L2706E – are all currently manufactured to Bell specifications in the US by John Deere, who have enjoyed a successful strategic alliance with the Bell group for the past decade.
All seven models will be fitted with high-torque Tier 3 John Deere PowerTech diesel engines with engine capacity and power output ranging from 4.5 litres and 127hp, respectively, on the L1204E model, up to 13.5 litres and 333hp on the L2706E machine.
According to Bell, the E-Series machines are among the most advanced wheel loaders in the world, but they say they have also gone one stage further by offering more high-specification standard features than any other manufacturer.
These standard features include: ride control; reverse radar object detection; reverse camera; on-board weighing system; automatic reversing fan; deluxe heated seat with twin armrests and seat-mounted controls; keyless start with security access codes; QuadCool system with wide-core radiators; automatic engine idle and shutdown; full fender mud guards; and 4,000h hydraulic filter service.
In addition, Bell say the E-Series machines feature advanced solid-state electronics, which provide greatly simplified electrical systems, while operators will benefit from major improvements in the cab environment, with a comfortable, heated air-suspended seat, high levels of visibility and a multi-function LCD monitor and sealed switch module.
