Bell bang on target

BELL Equipment UK say their latest sales figures confirm they are 'on target' to take a 20% share of the UK articulated dumptruck market by 2001 - within only three years of establishing Bell Equipment UK, their permanent UK headquarters.

South African-based Bell Equipment formed Bell Equipment UK in August 1998 following the acquisition of their former UK dealers, Heathfield Haulamatic.

Bob Aldridge, sales and marketing manager for Bell Equipment UK, said: 'We are delighted with these results and our continued growth in the UK ADT market. From being a relatively unknown name in the UK back in 1998, we have secured orders from major players to small and medium size companies, with many of our recent sales coming from repeat orders and established names.

'A key factor in our sales growth has been the establishment of a strategic dealer network for the UK and Ireland. The quality of the trucks has also been reflected in our market penetration, with the C-series ADT range of 25-40-tonne trucks quickly gaining a reputation for reliability, comfort and value for money.'

To facilitate their continued growth, Bell Equipment UK have recently relocated to new premises in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
