Bauma debut
The Volvo L220E, the first E-series wheel loader from Volvo Construction Equipment, will make its show debut at Bauma next month. Designed as a primary production machine for rock and rehandling applications, Volvo say the 33-tonne L220E combines high productivity with low fuel consumption, high availability and low environmental impact. Powered by the new-generation, electronically controlled, 258kW Volvo D12C engine, the loader meets the 2001 Step II emission-control legislation in the US, and the 2002 European equivalent.
