Tyre specialists aide automotive say that they have seen a significant rise in enquiries for two of their tyre pressure products – AirAlert and PressurePro – since tougher penalties for illegal tyres have been introduced (commercial vehicle penalties have been raised from a maximum £5,000 to £20,000).
AirAlert is a reactive warning device that will blink when a loss of PSI occurs. It is lightweight and easy to fit on any PSI tyre for any vehicle.
PressurePro monitors every vehicle tyre and provides the driver with an alert on an LCD screen when pressure falls below the recommended PSI. Key features of the system include: alerts to dangerous low-pressure situations with both a visual and an audible alert; two thresholds of low tyre pressure warnings; and cost-effective installation.
