Anaconda help waste-management firm meet recycling target

Anaconda TD516 trommel screen

Allen’s Waste Ltd purchase new TD516 trommel screen to help increase volume of recycled waste

ALLEN’s Waste Ltd, one of the largest waste recycling firms in south Manchester, have taken delivery of a new Anaconda TD516 trommel screen following extensive trials in different applications.

According to Danny Morgan of Anaconda UK, the trommel screen’s performance has proven excellent value for money in producing high volumes of recycled waste material in a variety of applications. Allen’s in particular were impressed with how easy the TD516 unit was to swap the entire drum out and replace with a different size drum, allowing the machine to work on different waste streams.

Mr Morgan commented: ‘Having undertaken an on-site assessment, the TD516 trommel with its low running costs and ability to operate in confined spaces, proved ideal for Allen’s and has helped the company achieve substantial cost savings.’

A spokesman for Allen’s Waste said: ‘Since we took delivery of the Anaconda TD516, the amount of waste material we now recycle has increased and resulted in cost savings due to the fact that we are not sending as much waste to landfill. The trommel has proved an extremely important asset for the company and the backup support we have received from Anaconda Sales UK has been exceptional.’

The Anaconda TD516 trommel screen is available in a wide range of drum designs and screen sizes to provide versatility and optimum efficiency.
