Quarry Managers and Assistant Quarry Managers – Midlands
NRS is a leading family owned quarrying company and a major supplier of aggregates, transport, recycling and waste management services.
To support the expansion of our growing business, we have new opportunities for both Quarry and Assistant Quarry Managers who will be based in the Midlands.
The successful candidates should have demonstratable previous practical experience in all aspects of quarrying operations from extraction to restoration.
The roles will suit self-motivated individuals with the ability to manage and develop staff while demonstrating an understanding of appropriate legislation.
You will be customer focused, ensuring service and quality standards are achieved and maintained.
The ideal candidates will have:
Excellent awareness of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation.
Completed or working towards a SHE NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
At least 3 years relevant experience.
A good understanding of plant and machinery, including maintenance planning.
Comprehensive understanding of Quarries Regulations.
