We require a Quarry Manager to look after our high-profile operations at Gill Mill Quarry near Witney, Oxon. You will assume responsibility for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the sand and gravel (over 400,000 tonnes/annum), washed/dry recycling, inert landfill operations and continuous restoration.

The successful candidate will report to the Quarries Operations Manager and should have previous practical experience of all aspects of quarrying operations from extraction to restoration, recycling, and inert landfill operations. You will hold a SHE NVQ level 4/ QCF level 6, preferably a WAMITAB Level 4 (Medium Risk Non-Hazardous Waste Treatment and Transfer), be fully conversant with ISO Management Systems, have experience of and a proven track record in the delivery of continuous improvement.

The role will suit a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and organise staff, demonstrate an understanding of engineering and ensure compliance with current H&S/environmental legislation.
