To help with our plans to become more efficient and productive we are looking for a like-minded Quarry professional to lead the team with Health, Safety and Environmental awareness very much to the forefront.

Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for quarry operations including HSE and cost management
Lead, mentor and support the team
Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
Drive production efficiency while prioritising safety
Lead investigations, audits and improvement initiatives to embed a proactive safety culture
Liaise with senior management, regulators and stakeholders
Drive efficient use of plant and equipment, maintain records and maintenance plans
Who We’re Looking For
Proven experience in quarry management or heavy industry
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations (Quarry Regulations 1999)
Leadership and communication skills
Relevant qualifications (QCF Level 6, MPQC NVQ in quarry management, NEBOSH)
Detail oriented, organised and financially literate
