Land and Planning Manager - Leicestershire

We are seeking a land and planning manager to join our multidisciplinary Land and Mineral Resources Department (LMR) based in Shepshed, Leicestershire. Providing a cost effective and professional service for land, mineral, property and planning matters, you will manage property and mineral assets within a designated area across all UK business lines.

You will be a chartered surveyor or have an equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in minerals, estate management and mineral planning. An effective project manager, you will have excellent communication and negotiation skills with membership of the Institute of Quarrying an advantage.

The role covers a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Leading on the designated acquisition and disposal of land, property and mineral reserve projects and in securing planning permissions and other permits.
  • Managing LMR expenditure on specific projects in line with budgets.  
  • Representing the company on external bodies and liaising with external stakeholders.
