Land and Planning Manager

Our Planning and Environmental Department is a small group of professionals working with the Board of Directors to manage regulatory compliance of our existing property portfolio and expand the resource base of the company through identification of new mineral prospects and securing regulatory consent.

We are currently looking for an experienced Land and Planning Manager to join our Planning and Environmental Department. This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office, Piercetown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath and will require travel to various sites. The successful candidate will possess strong experience in a planning and environmentally focused role both in the office and out on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Planning Applications, Appeals and Oral Hearings.

  • Planning Compliance Submissions. 

  • Environmental Impact Assessment.

  • Contributing to the Management of the Property, Planning and Environmental Portfolios of the Company.

  • Managing Multi-disciplined Consultants.  

  • Making Submission with Respect to County Development Plans and other Regulatory Plans and Policies.

  • Liaise with the Board of Directors to Expand Company Resources.

  • Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.

Skills Required:

  • Planner (BSc) minimum or MSc Spatial Planning.

  • 7 years post graduate experience in similar role.

  • Membership of MIPI or MIEI or other professional membership as appropriate.
