Due to retirement a leading earthmoving contractor based in the North West now requires a Contracts Manager. This is a senior role within D Wardle (Plant) Ltd.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of earthmoving and materials handling contracts to the exacting QSHE standards that our clients expect. Our core business is soil stripping and restoration, bulk excavation, rock ripping and hauling and mineral processing, largely but not exclusively in a quarry setting.
The position requires a dynamic individual with several years of relevant management experience. You will be comfortable working to tight timescales and challenging production targets, but have a appreciation of the importance of QSHE to market-leading service delivery. You will be a team player with strong people-management skills, able to develop good relationships with customers and your site teams.
