Nature After Minerals: Delivering biodiversity through minerals planning
Venue
With many species in rapid decline, and vital habitats being lost at an alarming rate, biodiversity enhancement which is integrated into mineral site restoration through the planned creation and management of priority habitats can provide a vital lifeline. This course will showcase best practice examples of how minerals planning can facilitate the delivery of significant biodiversity net gains, particularly at a landscape scale.
The day consists of an indoor morning session with guest speakers and land management experts providing advice on the subject in hand; a light lunch with the opportunity to network with other delegates; and a site visit to learn from on-the-ground examples of relevant best practice.
Spaces are limited to 25.
