Asphalt acquisitions

Lafarge Redland Aggregates Ltd have acquired two asphalt plants in the north of England - Renishaw near Sheffield and Ackworth near Pontefract - from the Tarmac Group. The deal follows the agreement by Anglo American to dispose of certain assets following their acquisition of Tarmac earlier this year.
